The Presentation Family brings together people who are challenged to give expression to the vision of Edmund Rice in their lives today.

There are many different events throughout the year including workshops and social gatherings.

Edmund Rice Action

Young adults, with the support of Associates and Brothers, organise a Summer camp for children from Scoil Mhuire na nGras, Greenmount, Cork. In the course of their leadership training the young adults acquire skills in team building and are encouraged to use their creativity to provide a week of fun and happiness for the children. Reflection, prayer and attention to the spirit of Blessed Edmund Rice are central elements in this action packed week.

Leadership Training

The young adults who volunteer for Edmund Rice Action (ERA) are invited to participate in a leadership programme. The training sessions have the following objectives.

To build on the enthusiasm and commitment of the team.
To develop practical skills for the work with the children and in doing this to encourage the leaders to use their creativity.
To set out boundaries and ground rules.
To ensure that our action is taken in the spirit of Blessed Edmund.

Presentation Communication Centre (PCC)

The PCC aims to empower members of the Presentation Family and the wider community in a proactive and creative use of the media.

The PCC has a special concern for promoting the Christian message in the media. In line with the charism of Blessed Edmund, the centre seeks to highlight issues of faith and justice.

Training programmes and media skills days are offered here in Cork in partnership with the Jesuit Communication Centre.
